I don’t understand why many countries use the oppression of Jews around the world as a means to flex their power. The Jews and Arabs were ancient cousins from the line of Abraham and as descedants from the Canaanites, they lived in the same place for a long time. Both Judaism and Islam have the same God but just called differently. The new state of Israel was established in 1948 but the then British occupant screwed up. Before they passed the torch to the Israelites, they did not have a plan to settle the current Palestinian residence. Imagine the Muslim Palestinians, lived thee for over a century, had to move away from their homes to make space for the incoming Israelites. That has to be settled between these two people to live in the same place peacefully. However, the Muslims living in Israel had been treated like second class citizens, and because of the US support of Israel, the neighbors around Israel were jealous because they were generally impoverished as compared to the thriving Israel country. That tension has to be dealt with by treating each other as equals. Every war is started by the top disputes and the common people are the casualties and sufferings. How can we change that?
