John Gardner is the founder and principal of Blackhawk Wealth Advisors (BWA). In his 35 years of investment advisory experience, John has had the opportunity to work in several firms. Early on, John saw that the retail side of Wall Street was mostly about manufacturing investment products that firms promoted and stockbrokers sold at a high cost. These were not always in the client’s best interest but routinely to make money for the firm. John recognized there had to be a better way.
To accomplish his mission and purpose, John has created three distinct but inter-connected companies to ensure solid, sound investment and financial management for his clients.
Equity Research & Portfolio Evaluation (ERPE). ERPE has a set of investment principles and disciplines that resulted in the development of a proprietary investment methodology. The core of it is research and forms the foundation of portfolio management efforts today.
Blackhawk Asset Management (BAM). In the process of research, he realized the essential need to have solid portfolio management linked to ERPE’s research so he created BAM.
Blackhawk Wealth Advisors (BWA). During his training for his Certified Financial Planner, he realized the comprehensive nature of financial and investment planning. This formed a vision in John of a comprehensive, “big picture” focused and multi-generational wealth advisory firm. Thus, BWA was born to serve high net worth families with wealth advice and research driven investment management.
John welcomes you to Blackhawk Wealth Advisors and its subsidiaries. He encourages you to schedule a consultation to discuss the BWA difference.
